Ultimate Xianxao Rejuvination Tea
"The Herb of
Immortality"
by
A. True Ott, PhD
Imagine a killer that
claims half a million American lives every year. If this killer wore robes
and lived in the Middle East, the news media would label him a “terrorist”
of the highest evil. In actuality, there are THREE such killers at work in
America as you read this, claiming thousands of American lives every day.
The “Big Three” killers are Heart Attack, Stroke, and Cancer, and they
strike old and young alike. To protect against these indiscriminate
killers, Americans spend BILLIONS of Dollars every year for prescription
drugs designed to lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and thereby
reduce the risk of early disability or death from assaults by these cunning
killers. Sadly, every chemical drug has its own set of potentially harmful
side effects. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if there was a truly natural product
to all but eliminate the “terrorism” caused by the Big Three killers? Well,
it is indeed true and is indeed fantastic that there is in truth such a
product. It is called Xianxao – a Chinese name
literally meaning “The Herb of Immortality”.
The scientific name
for this wonderful herb is Gynostemma
pentaphyllum – and very few herbalist and
naturopaths outside of Southern China have ever heard of it. The Japanese
call it Amachazuru, and it is also known as
Jiaugulan, Miracle Grass, Southern Ginseng, and
Vitis pentaphyllum.
For the remainder of this article, I will refer to
Xianxao Rejuvination Tea by its
scientific name: Gynostemma.
Gynostemma is undoubtedly one of the most powerful
adaptogenic herbs on planet earth.
An adaptogen is a substance that helps the body
to naturally “adapt” to particular stresses placed upon it. The term “adaptogen”
was coined by Russian scientist N.V. Lazarev in
1947 who declared that such an herbal substance “must be innocuous and cause
minimal side effects in the physiological functions of an organism; it must
have a non-specific action of immune enhancement, and have a normalizing
action on various bodily functions, irrespective of the direction of the
pathological state.”
An adaptogen is therefore a substance which
helps to bring about “homeostasis”, or the
natural equilibrium “balancing” of the body’s internal processes.
Gynostemma in clinical studies has shown to
accomplish this more effectively than any other herb or herbal combination.
Clinical Studies over the
last decade have shown that Gynostemma consumed
daily in tea may provide the following benefits:
-
Prevent Heart Attacks
and Strokes
-
Inhibit Cancer<

Directions for Brewing the
Tea
The tea leaves expand
incredibly after being placed in water. Using Distilled Water (or the
purest water available – please
do not use
regular tap water) – place 1 teaspoon into 32 oz. of hot water –
let steep for 5 minutes, strain the leaves from the tea, then consume.
(Save the leaves, as they can be used a 2nd
time for a lower tea concentration.) If the tea is too bitter, add
Stevia leaf as a sweetening agent to taste.
Consume 8 oz. in the morning, then sip the
remaining tea throughout the day (chilled) for best results.
If you are taking
blood-thinning medication such as Plavix or
Ticlid, anticoagulants such as Heparin and
Warfarin – CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE CONSUMING
Gynostemma. Because it enhances the immune
system, Gynostemma may interfere with drugs used
to suppress the immune system after organ transplants or in other
conditions, and therfore
is not recommended.
